Piccinin Bianco di Muni
From the Veneto region of Northeast Italy, this wine is made by a certified organic, practicing biodynamic former chef. It is a blend of Chardonnay and the local grape, Durella, and is fermented using indigenous yeast before aging in a combination of stainless steel and large wooden barrels. Medium-plus bodied with perfectly balanced acidity and lots of recognizable Chardonnay notes of apple, peach, pear, and ripe citrus. An excellent fall white, and a natural pairing with the brothy maltagliati.
